Ed, you mad bu**er. Good luck to you though. I've got a mate whose into ultra marathons and has done stuff like marathon des sables, iditasport etc - you need to be a "certain type of person" to do it.

I like your site - it looks really good.

Do you really think 24 hrs is long enough to run far enough away from Tooting Question Laughing

run away ??..... gosh they don't let you out you know... keep people like us under close supervision in a secure area.

any pointers from your ultra buddy would be welcomed.. point him this way or drop me a mail.

nice one.... need a crew? I will honour my offer lol

but i still might consider doing it depending on how hard a month october is... he he as a hardened 100 mile vet i could get in on form though - but i wouldn't like to nick your place Shocked

i think that blisters might be an issue if it rains and your feet get wet - i'd consider wearing sealskinz over blister socks (depending on how roomy your trainers are)

nothing yet andy.
i'll give it a few days into this week & then pen my response.

(for the spectators here: the race organiser has had the cheek to question my experience, and effectively my seriousness) looks like this is the best smiley we have but it doesnt really do it justice Mad
