As promised you can now view the forum without viewing avatars and signatures - ideal for those on low bandwidth connections. To do so simply choose the relevant option in your Profile. Click on the Profile button on the forum sub navigation menu above and select no for Show Avatars in Topic and the same for Signatures.

Let me know if there are any problems with this Smile

Also ideal setting for the opera mini browser on the mobile phone - nice one.

I'm loving it - so easy to flip from page to page.

Although you can't see what avatars people are praising - just have to click on profile to suss it.

With the cookie problem(?) I have at work that means it's not possible to always stay logged in even if selecting the check box when I login, it'd be nice if the default "not logged in" view of the forums would be without avatars.

E.g. Thread I opened at work the other day thinking I was logged in but not, and the first avatar was a picture of a person of questionable beauty with a t-shirt saying "I **** on first dates" - not one to impress the IT admin guys around here.

Please consider.

Ta

Andy

Does this mean I have to switch off everything when I'm on my phone, and then switch it all back on again when I'm on my computer?

Think it must, although you can probably get around this by changing your phone setting to prevent images (if required). All my phone browsing is imageless as text only is much less data.

or creating a 2nd TT userid for use with the phone... I have Trimark for my treo650...

Of course you won't have the same lists of threads read, post count etc.
