This is Jene's kitchen, supposedly in a messy state (from her blog) Rolling Eyes .

I mean, it's disgraceful. Look somebody's tidied up the empties, stacked the plates, a bag for rubbish, there's even washing up liquid Shocked .

In my day, there would be green slime on at least two pans that hadn't been touched for several months.
I never quite got to the stage that some of my mates reached when they were nearly thown out of their digs for encouraging vermin - they had a family of mice living in their oven - but hey, get with the programme Jene, next post we expect to see real squalour!

TFIC obviously Wink

Ooooh, I've got Kim & Aggie's book - I so want to help.

An old toner box would be great for recycling empties ...

How come there's still space in the sink? In my day, the tallest pile would have been in there, spilling out onto the work surface (it's amazing what happens when you leave a few dishes in to soak after every meal for two weeks in a row Shocked ).

Youngsters today, eh? Very Happy

Only 1 empty wine bottle and 9 stella bottles, poor showing unless this is the breakfast dishes.

On the plus side, I find that you can "recycle" some pans if you only boiled pasta in them. Cheese graters, because everybody knows that cheese gets better with age.

Two lots of empty dish soap, though. Hmmm ... I think that lives up to the hype.

dont worry, this isnt representative of all students. In my house we have no plates and bowls, we eat out of the pan you cook the meal in so there is nothing to wash up if you finish your meal.
Also most of the cuboard doors are broken for some reason and i can never affor stella! piss-in-a-can (carling) all the way

That's disgusting!!!! I swear I can actually see a plate "draining" on the left?

And,

Is that a Rubber Glove in the sink!?

Such behaviour is just not good enough

I spent a night in a mate flat years ago, where they had produced a large enough hole in the floor of the bathroom for a person to actually fall into......so the solution......

cover it with a rug !!!!! now that is quality student behaviour !!!!

the same guy eventually got booted out for throwing nexts doors fridge out of the third floor window, but hey ho !

It's what my wife thinks the kitchen would be like if no one were there to nag me.
