This week it's swimming. When my legs feel good it's running. If it's downhill, then cycling.
Sue, you haven't chosen a bike yet Shocked .

Swimming is definitely satisfying when it goes well. Like Sue said, now Iím able to get whole lengths in it feels worthwhile, yesterday I pulled (or is it pushed?) really hard with my arms and that made it easier to breath. Someone said you have to go faster to get a Ďwaveí going around your head so you can breath in the dip as is comes around the side. Thatís true but the extra effort makes the need to breath more important. I wasnít able to swim much more than the 33 metre length because I was knackered! Going faster is such an inspiration.

Cycling is still my favourite though, riding over the North Downs towards Edenbridge then turn back and go over Toys Hill is really nice, especially this time of year when the trees are changing colour. Views from the Surry Hills must be some of the best anywhere.

Iím still a learner at running so not sure if I like it or not.

I voted swimming because when it is done well, it is undeniably sexy. A good swim is amazing. I think it is also because it needs more consideration to make it work well.

Cycling, yes, I nearly picked that because I enjoy riding - speed is a definite bonus, and riding fast on your own in a totally quiet place is also brilliant.

Running can be good, but if you want to feel knackered, then running will probably do it faster. I don't think it looks very graceful (like swimming) and the lack of accessories (like riding) is a real downer.
