it was excellent - some of the best Tri coverage I've seen with interviews with Spencer Smith etc , only trouble was I wish it was longer than half an hour.

I enjoyed that 30min slot too, did a good job Very Happy
Take my hat off to Richard Allen, you really wouldn't expect a pro to beat another pro by over 8mins on a half marathon leg after all that! He almost did it Sad
I remember seeing him pass me at the top of the first long hill. Obviously he was on his second lap and I was on my first Confused

ALcatraz, yay! thats where Simon Lessing took on and thrashed the americans on their own soil Laughing

Yeah, Richard Allen's a good triathlete, but man, he could have at least given us one smile. Looked like he was having a real miserable time for some reason.

I know i came off my MTB about 6 week ago in a good smash on the canal path, went head to head with another MTB Embarassed and we both came off worse, but i came over my bars Shocked bounced down the road a few times. jumped up laughing, Laughing so did he both got on are bikes and went are way. only to get home and find i was coverd in blood and a whole lot of pain followed Twisted Evil

the girl that fell off did not get on again. when we spoke to her after she was major bandaged up. think she busted both her wrists if i recall correctly

thought the program was poor. hardly any rweal decent race footage.
poor old andy blow busted a gut to get third, and his total screen time was about two seconds, with the commentry, "oh yeah and this bloke andy was third"

not nearly enough footage of the two dudes in stupid pink wigs.

got to see a good view of how much drafting went on i guess.

no mention of where the missing mile and a half of the run course went.

the one person i did think they would have coverd was Jane Tomlinson, i think terminally ill with cancer and finishing this or any race in the times this girl get's, would have warnted at least a mention.
