Lanza next then? Twisted Evil

Seriously, well done - a brilliant effort. Lovely to meet your family too.

The small operation you mentioned - does that mean no more little Reciphers? Wink

It probably sounded a little immodest but compared to my expectations, and previous triathlons, I didn't find it as hard as I thought it would be. I think it was a combination of reasonable weather, good planning, pacing/not going hard enough and most of all, luck. I kept expecting to blow up, or for the run to get really hard and it didn't happen. I found the Bala run harder, with the heat and the hills.

I can't say I'm too excited about Lanzarote. On the list of IM to do, I want to do Canada, Lake Placid, Norseman or maybe something like Embrunman. It definitely won't be for a couple of years though. I've got some long distance fell running plans for 2009, along with more cyclosportives and triathlons.

Indeed, 2 is plenty - one for each arm.

Hi Johnny,

And there I was thinking that you were an experienced and wiley old IM hand! Outrageous time for you first one!

Great to meet you and your family. Like I said at the time, I couldn't have done an IM with small children in tow....I guess that's congratualtions to both of you then!

See you on another start line somewhere (not sure about Lanza or the Norseman though!).

Cheers

Rich

Apples and oranges, Tony.

Cheers. See you at Wensleydale, where you can show me how to climb.
