thats not a bad time dr dre, esp without the wetsuit, which would have taken a good chunk off that!
personally ive increased my overall swim session to 1750m (2x500m). Long way off but I'll get there. I intend to do a 2500m session sometime this week.....it's not much fun doing it in a 15m pool though. May switch to Queen Mum at some stage.

Not yet - still dithering about where she wants to do it.
but I heard back from a very nice lady and there's no age restrictions, as long as I think she can do it.
As she wasn't even breathing hard after 2.4k in an hour on Sunday, I don't think she'll have any probs.
I just feel so inadequate ...

Right
done it.
She's in - March 19, 5k.
It's a duplication/cancellation though - so I hope it doesn't get whipped out from under our noses.

nice one jj, ill look out for you and mini-jj. ill be the one looking uncomfortable in his lycra swimming trunks
originally planned 5k, then a feel for the 3.8k....and now I reckon 2500m would be a better idea. Had a bit of a lapse lately thanks to the bloody shingles!
