It is back and entries open. Sunday 25th October 2009 at 10am at Coed Y Brenin. 5k Trail/mini fell run/20k Mountain Bike/5k Trail/mini fell run. Solo or relay teams of 2/3 people. The bike route may be changed due to forestry work (although they are on track with the harvesting), which in some ways keeps the route guessing exciting, with a little extra singletrack from last year and a massive fire road downhill to see what speed you can acheive (have measured a new one just in case. Comes out about 1/2K short) but it does include another lung busting uphill Online entry no extra charge.

For those entering, it looks like the same route is going to be used as they are in the process of re-instating the road post harvesting. So times are relevant, unless there isn't a storm the night before
Also going back to bread chips to count the 2 laps.

Would be interesting getting you all to carry the whole loaf round instead of just the bread clip! Points deducted for crushing it _________________ Fancy a challenge? www.vlaevents.co.uk for a race that is totally different!

Well, entries for this one slowly coming in. Even the recreation manager there is thinking of entering this year. Ok, as part of a relay team, but still, as he helps maintain the trails, he gets to take part.

Great stuff, Vince. Really pleased that you're getting decent numbers in your races this year.

Nope. My multisport season finally and truly came to an end at Helwith Bridge. It's cyclocross all the way from now... _________________ "Spike you are a true genius" - littlefatwelshman 23 Sep 2006

The weather forecast looks okay for Sunday, as opposed to Saturday, where they have forecasted showers all day.
