Has everyone done their GFA entries, I got mine in earlier this week and I think they close soon.

Haven't made the cut for the first time since GFA started. 3:20:54 at 58 not good enough. Would have been my 25th too. Sad
Have to rely on a lottery slot or 2 club draws. Otherwise wait a couple of years for a pretty doable 3:45.

Yep, the GFA times get pretty tough at the older end of the 50-59 age group. Luckily I've got a couple more years before I get there

I'm in again - No 20 at London for me. Also hit the 50-59 age group next year so hope to get to at least 25 London's before I struggle.

Good luck at getting in Old Nick.

Cheers although I've virtually written it off.
You should be fine for a few years. The gradual decline in speed over long distance seems to start around mid 50s. There are, of course, exceptions.
5 year good for age bands would be fairer, particularly as it leaps to 3.45 at 60.

I will be marshalling at the water station at mile 24. Looking forward to it and i am guessing I should be able to catch a good glimpse of CW as she will be near the front, well before the masses.

126 road currently. Lightweight compared to some but not really a chaser, just been around a long time. Wink
