Thanks - Kingstobank makes an enforced change.

He was looking on good form. Think he had learnt the wrong lessons from the "fighting spirit" his lead out train showed the other week.

I'm already having to look past the abomination of a kit that Tinkoff seems to always insist on making his riders wear. A happy Vino would be too far.

Don't. There's a couple of guys in the local club who think they're the bees knees in their cammo yellow kit... I beg to differ.

It's only just struck me that if Sagan can get the green jersey before the first TT, he never has to wear whatever Oleg has designed to embarrass them this year.

I'm in. Couldn't quite find that final rider (4 pointer required) so went with Lotto Soudal's Hansen whom I know nothing about.

You picked quite a character. He designs and makes his own super light CF shoes, and has been paying attention to the whole marginal gains thing for as long as he's been riding bikes. He also now holds the record for the most consecutive Grand Tour starts and finishes - starting with the 2011 Vuelta Espaņa he's now ridden 14 on the bounce. The TdF will be his 15th. I doubt he's going to earn you many points though - apart from the very occasional breakaway he mostly gets his domestique duties over and done with in the first 2/3rds of the stage.

Watched this over the years, and this time I am in. Did it the wrong way round by picking the team and then looking at the scoring. Cummings good for something in the actual race at some point, but not for the points in this with his penchant for sticking at the back for most of the race. Close to the deadline, but I need to go back and rebuild my team around the little Columbian, even though building a team around Sagan makes more sense for the points. Makes me realise how little I know about a lot of those 4 & 6 pointers!

4 pointers are only worth 4 points for a reason.

I'm in.

After last year's TriTalk victory and 133rd overall, I reckon I'm a shoe-in for mid-table obscurity Very Happy

Some quality parenting time with my son, picking our team this evening. Neither of us has a Scooby but we're in.
(I'm a little concerned about his insistence on Billy Bad Beef)

Good effort to one and all. I was getting a bit worried there. Anyways, let the games commence.

Oh, and chapeau to Cavendish. I thought he'd do something since he's not on my team.

Great to see the Cav back. Meanwhile thinking had not done to badly with my team selection. Oh well, only about 19,000 people have more points than me! It's a three week race etc. etc.

Yeah, was chuffed to see Cav take the first stage despite having Kittel in the ranks - some emotional hedging of bets there Smile

I'f fiddled with my team so much I forgot I'd still got Sagan in there so was pleasantly surprised to see I'm in 18th in the whole competition at this point. Very skewed towards fast men/puncheurs though, with Nibbles my only main GC hope so will need to enjoy this before the roads start going up Wink

I managed to pick a non-starter. Going OK so far. 1st, 2nd and 4th on yesterday's stage helped. Need Degenkolb to find some form today though.
