Apropos of nothing, GCN looked into what Adam Hansen packs for a tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYfpXwzuKT0

Looking forward to the stage today, looks a pretty tough day out with some steep sections on the climbs in the middle.

There'll be lots of fighting to get in the breakaway, and then teams like EQS, Lotto etc. trying to drop Sagan on the climbs. Also wonder if Sky/Moviestar/BMC fancy testing out Bertie to see if he's recovered yet.

I wonder if Cummings has been eyeing this one up, or might wait till later in the tour when legs aren't so fresh - feels like there's too many teams that won't want a break to go today and would prefer a reduced bunch sprint. The polka dot jersey is there for the taking today so might be more of a Teklehaimanot day?

For the first time in 5 (?) years, I lost the faith with Cavendish... Now look at him. Bah.

That was hilarious. Not quite up there with the Orica bus getting extra screen time in Corsica.

Initially I couldn't understand how he crashed, after all inflatables must deflate quite slowly.

Until I saw this footage;

Good to see him in the White jersey & good to see me no longer propping up the Tritalk league.

Me too, the sprogg has been banished to the cupboard under the stairs for insisting we had Contador. The rest of the team is doing pretty well!
