Mrs S is mulling over doing The Outlaw next season as her comeback race. If so, I'm up for doing the run as part of a relay. All we'll need to do is find a fat swimmer and we could enter as the "Three (not so) Little Pigs". Wink

I could be up for a nostalgic trip back into Triathlon, with swimming just about the only discipline I could manage these days. Ongoing foot problems will rule me out of running and deciding whether to get a couple of bones fused to reduce pain. Cycling has been quite limited and just not got the enthusiasm to get out on the bike for more than about 50k.

Certainly do, somewhere. I went out on the MTB this year, wasn't really into it. Felt a bit samey and not exciting. I still run from time to time but not with enough regularity to actually form any proper fitness.

So no triathlon comeback for me but I will be targeting canicross once the dog is old enough to run properly. As she's currently five months old and you shouldn't run-race them until two years, that gives me all of 2017 off. Hurrah. Very Happy

Loads from a female canicross club do Sherwood Pines parkrun. They've got it sorted - 7 stone females being dragged along by mahoosive pooches to 20.xx times Rolling Eyes Wink

The comeback starts next weekend with the Phuket Triathlon! My last triathlon was IMUK. 2011 so slightly nervous about how it will go. Very tough bike course so need to make sure I leave enough to make the run.

My A race is Challenge Wanaka in 3 months so Phuket will be a good indication how training is going Cool

So after 2 years of recovery, I ran 10 miles last Sunday. Add that to the mile swims x2 this year, means only a few 60 mile bike rides need next year and I'm on my way back!!!

Hang on a minute...

it was Dr Dre's bra, it even had his name on it. Wink

Jokes aside, those were the days. Cool

Whilst I can't promise a comeback to racing/supporting, I might try some training in 2017.

Cheers, Paul. Smile
