Thought i'd start this off as previous threads that i've read with great interest, along with the people in them, among others things, have inspired me to enter next year.
Only the half though, as much as I'd like to go longer the fact that i'm not really going to be on dry land between now and a month or so prior to next September means that even the 'short' one is probably a daft idea. Then again aren't the daft ones sometimes the best ones?!
All good stuff, lets see what happens!

After helping out this year I've stupidly thrown my hat in the ring for the full. Never make race entry decisions at daft o'clock in the morning whilst waiting for the final finisher on the double. And certainly don't tell the event organiser there and then that you're going to enter.
Looking forward to it, I suppose...

Ello lurking Pirate. Race
Knew you would be tempted. Doubt whether I will make it as the course is too hilly less than one month out from my 'A'

Aye Curry, despite listening to everyone moaning about how tough it was at the time, and that chap offering us his medal if we'd do the last lap of the bike for him, I really fancied doing it. My only aim for it though is to finish within the cut-off. Got at least one other Pirate thinking of going in for the double, and another in for the half.
You going to be there helping out again?

Ah shame. Well I'm sure our paths will cross at some point. I'm going to be helping out at most of the Brutal Events stuff over the year, including the Oner
