I just have to make two points that mean so much in my little life.

1. After almost 10 years on this site, this is my 2000th post.

2. After 350-ish days, my avatar is briefly relevant again.

Thank you, good day.

Wow! 10 years! Smile

harsh.

Some, being plural, I wonder to whom you refer Ejc.

As an aside There is a very good book called "Bully Insight" written by a chap who gained two honourary degrees for his anti bullywork in the workplace etc, called Tim Field, sadly deceased. There is a value added read.

more a lack of self confidence.

Tim was a nice bloke, used to enjoy a pint or two with him. Except he was a tee totaller.

His death was tragic GrahamO. And we shared some common interests, so far from laughing he might be teaching the sort of stuff you ridicule. When he wasn't teaching at the Police Staff College or iirc helping the Army with anti bullying, etc.

Some things have changed.
I used to log on almost daily in the old days....for me it was a brilliant source of knowledge. Living (as I was back then) in a desert, literally. It gave a novice some excellent pointers, reducing my mistakes .. but not eliminating them...haha
Also it gave me a big boost in the positive outlook & trust of like minded folk. A fellow TTer paid almost 2000 quid of his cash for a bike for me. To take advantage of Planet X deal (buy a Titanium bike = free carbon frame), with a short time window. It was in 2010, spring time ish, I was in Qatar, he was in Surrey & he trusted me to pay him etc. Which I duly did & he sent the bike up to me once I was back in the UK.
He hadn't met me, but he knew I was a TTer since 2006.
Brilliant.
Gave me a real feelgood vibe.
Cheers
