I am lucky enough to have a little spare cash and am looking for a new pair of sunglasses for riding and running.
Been looking at the Oakley Jawbreakers and Adidas Evil Eye pro.
Any experiences with either of them? Can get the Adidas at half price using the British Triathlon discount.
I wear glasses, so the Adidas may be leading the race just now as I can get Rx inserts for them in the future.
Cheers
Ross

I have a pair of Jawbreakers. Very comfy and the size means that no glare gets around the sides.
The downside is that you do look like you are wearing ski googles, or as my girlfirend eloquently put it - "like a twat".

Lidl - 3 interchangable lenses (Dark / Orange / clear)
Look OK, comfy fit and shatterproof.
£4.99
Sunnies dont make you go faster. Use the £100 quid change to get some coaching or a training camp break....

Hahahaha, very good DaveM, that would be a "sensible" option. Maybe.

If you can find some Madison D'arcs triple, they are good quality for a cheap price.
However, if you're keen to splurge the cash, I rate my Oakley Radarlocks VERY highly.

For UK conditions, I find it hard to go past photochromics. Had a pair of Rudy's for 4yrs and they do everything well. Taken them to the Alps and Mallorca and they handle bright sun well also.
I use them for running as well.

I had a pair of Rudy photochromatics and absolutely hated them. If it did happen to rain (and yes I know I should've taken them off) they actually attract water to their lenses and makes sure it all coalesces into a big glob across your view. It was like cycling with a fish-eye lens.
A few other quibbles as well - the lens seemed slightly distorted which gave me a little eye-ache after a while.
Cost a fortune and won't be buying them again. My £15 pair of 'something cheap' have been a hundred times better.

Certainly, if you're looking at prescription lenses too. I never rated Adidas eyewear to be honest, again I found them to steam quickly and clear slowly, but that was personal experience
