before this spirals out of control, I'd like to add a vote for photocromatic. I got a pair from Decathlon, cheap and great quality for UK weather. I wear glasses too, but contacts for sport

Benny Vansteelant Memorial freebies...used them for years, then asked the RO for some spares and got two further pairs...with swapping lenses and arms they lasted 5 or 6 years of maltreatment...great if you are not fashion conscious...

Out of interest, Sports Pursuit are selling these for 99. I bought a pair before Christmas but sent them back (without evening turning on) as I was concerned about the lack of visibility through the right hand side.
