This is an interesting thread, my average heart rate over the past 12 months cycling is 147 bpm and running is 145 bpm. At Parkrun pushing as hard as I can to beat my PB, my HR is 172 bpm, and a 15 mile TT was at 169 bpm

My max HR is 189 bpm - I tend to hit max HR trying to break my PB on an uphill Strava segment (max cycling HR is about 181) or the sprint at the end of Parkrun (I can usually hit 187+)

My background is a cyclist, but focusing a lot on running at the moment. But for me, there is no statistical difference between my running and cycling heart rate
