Iíve been planning my weeks around TSS.
Managed 9-10 hours and 550 for the 2 weeks preceding last week then only 6hrs and 250TSS last week due to a weekend off.

Been doing a lot of strength work which is helping a lot.

9 weeks to my 70.3 and starting to slowly ramp up the miles.

After a week in Ibiza, put in a solid week last week. 8 hours total, 3 of each swim bike run.

Life got in the way again 6/9 last week. Feeling good about my easy run pace and cycling though, no twinges in the knees since I dropped run Intervals. Eyeing up some OW swim races...

Only one swim though as bike took precedence.

Finally managed to get in a Tennis session with my son today too Smile

First proper week of training in what seems like an eternity. A combination of taper for Mallorca, then a repetitive weekly cycle of recovery and shorter racing, which probably led to a few days of illness, meant things really took a downward turn for the past 5-6wks or so.

However last week was the beginning of the final proper build towards Copenhagen, and whilst I felt pretty tired during the middle of the week, I actually felt really rather strong over the weekend (143k bike on Saturday, 3.6k lake swim and 25k run on Sunday).

Total numbers:
5 swims covering 12.25km
3 bikes over 7.5hrs (375 TSS), plus 2 days of commuting (another 2hrs / 40km)
3 runs covering 54km in 4.5hrs

Total TSS per trainingpeaks was 1042. By far my biggest in over 2 months, and the only time I've been over 1000 outside of formal training camps.
