Haha, not quite - though my poles were absolutely invaluable last week as the ground is just ridiculously wet and slippy.

Pretty lucky here to have plenty of nice hills on stunning routes - not that you can see them in the dark!

I seriously cannot wait to actually run in the daylight again! The only times i get out in the day are for runches around Exeter - which aren't terrible to be fair.

A missed run. I’m so sad. All due to partying.

Did a swim to bike yesterday to catch up, boy I regretted doing kickboarding during the third ‘sweet spot’ interval. Legs feeling it today, should run it off at lunch time though.

Started with great intentions, then life took over! Lots going on with it being my 50th on Friday, so normal service won’t be resumed until Wednesday.

2 x runs 11 miles
2x turbo sessions
2 x swims
2 x strength and core

Ha - actually preempted tomorrow swimming in dijon as I’m driving all day.

Calves are pretty stiff so not sure how Mondays session will go.

2 swims - 4800m
3 Bikes - 86km (Plus 3 commutes 33km)
2 Runs - 15km (3min Walk/2min run)

Can still feel calf a little towards the end of the run/walk sessions so not going to increase the walk/run split until not getting any reaction at all.

Ps. May just end up walking this week as went down with lurgy last night so may just take a few walks to get some fresh air.

A strange week for me. Work was mental, not helped by a short 4 day week due to flying off on holiday Friday morning.

3 swims - 6.5k (that's after doing no swimming until I landed on Friday!)
1 bike - only an FTP test this week. Managed to up the number by 7w so pretty pleased
4 runs - 64k with 5hr10 on my feet

It was definitely a run heavy week. I had a big tempo session Thursday evening before I flew out which was 40mins at target HM pace in the middle, and then did a 2hr trail run today.

Followed this up with the following (flew back Friday):

4 swims for 10k
3 bikes for 197k (quite lumpy for me with 2750m of elevation gain)
3 runs for 54k

Across the 7 days I was away, I managed to achieve my aim of swimming every day (16.5km total, minimum of 2k per day), and also did the 197k of cycling and a total of 67km running over 4 sessions.
