No commuting again,

6 runs totalling 53.2km in 3:42.

and 2 rides, both of them 5 reps corner to post box on box hill (having parked in the car park, Otter was getting muddy on a parkour course)

45km 100min 181 AP 238 NP
48km 112min 174 AP 228 NP

Still not checked the power meter against any accuracy, the kj required for a box hill climb was very low especially considering the unhelpful weaether, so still possibly a bit low.

Although my Fenix decided my VO2max should go up to 70 on cycling, which would suggest no crazy high watts, unless it's going to seriously overread.

The watch also said 68 this week on running when I did a fast run due to getting some new shoes which always pushes up my speed.

First outdoor ride, 1:59 47.1km +635m. Kept the power on except for two descent sections and one traffic light stop so fairly happy with it as a work out.

Felt good.

Steady 12 hours this week.
First ride in new set up shows 64km in 2:01 580 m ^.
Average heart rate down too, so happy.

Hamstring has started playing up... you never get it all!

1 swim

Average weekly:

Swim 895m per week
Bike 44.6km per week
Run 20.4 km per week

On the bright side, a nice ride in to work this morning...

Double days seem to be working for me - 30-60mins lunch time running then 2hr ride or turbo session after work. Feeling fine the next day.

Doesnt count as training yet, but cleared the dust off the bike since Outlaw to take advantage of the sun. It will be the start of something more regular though!

7 runs totalling 55km in 3:56. (the better weather moved by "long" run onto the trails in the hills rather than on the A24, so shorter and slower for that one)

3 commutes totalling 93km in 4:30

Sadly despite the nice weather, british cycling decided to schedule meetings that dragged Maryka away, so had no free time, so just One ride of 2 hours - 57km 165 AP 207 NP

Trying to get 'back on it' this week.

60km via 5 runs. One 5km TT, two easy plods, one gentle hillyish run and finished things off with a lovely couple of hours on the coast path last night. Gorgeous evening it was too!

Hoping for another decent week this week, before a family holiday so that'll have to be a recovery week.

Can't remember when I last posted, but got back from a week training camp over the course of the weekend. In terms of those 7 days (Saturday to Friday last week) I managed the following:

5 swims - 3 sea swims, 2 pool swims. c4.7k in the sea and 5k in the pool (1k recovery swim and 4k endurance set on the Thursday)

Cycled every day except Thursday - total of 522km, including 3 main rides of 111km, 116km and 180km. 19.5hrs of saddle time.

Also ran every day except Thursday - total of 60km, with a main run of 25km on the Monday. Also included a 10km brick off the final Friday 180km ride, where I surprised myself and comfortably ran that in 41mins, with the last 2k the fastest in sub 4.00/km pace.

About 28hrs of training accumulated over the course of the week, and I've come back feeling pretty strong. A great week away Smile

Nice work Stenard, big week!

I'm averaging about 8-9hrs per week. Swim is suffering, can get in about 2 x 30 mins per week. Running going well and FTP is up. Getting a few outdoor endurance rides together now, which is good.

Next big hit out is Marlow HIM, June 25th.
