I like the fact that she went out on her bike in the afternoon to create a Garmin file to verify her time and splits - very inventive Rolling Eyes

Solid, but not a patch on the great Kip Lutton? As well as a serial cheat in races, inventing an entire race out of thin air to cheat in is his finest achievement - and he kept the denials going in the face of mounting evidence, rather than just caving in.

Always a few outed at the London Marathon with 2hr 15 odd first 13 miles split, then second halfs in around an hour....

I'm getting really tempted to start cheating at marathons... I mean surely it's a real challenge to beat the hunters, rather than just train and run round!

Got to be more kudos in it.

I guess the first step is building a good history of plausible feats on strava...

Or give them a bigger challenge by walking the first half then running like crazy....

Or changing tops between photographers...

Hilarious.

One can only imagine the tragic life that leads to this.

Either that or bait the hunters to see if they're watching; as per eJC's suggestion.

Some of these people must have an awful lot of time on their hands and serious chip on their shoulder to be pursuing people like that.

I know they are essentially cheating but why get so upset about it, hopefully they will get found out anyway. To analyse the entire field at a marathon!

Mind, that slowtwitch is brutal at times.

Sometimes they go to far. But often people are cheating their way in to the Boston Marathon, or Kona etc and so it is good that these people get investigated and found out because they are taking that place from more deserving people.

Plus its funny as ~#*$.
