I've got 28 in my Tredz basket (and they do 5 off over 30) so need to buy something small, my current tyre levers and getting worn but there's too many to choose from.

Recommendations please http://www.tredz.co.uk/search/tyre%20lever

I hate the really cheap and nasty ones but didn't think metal was a good idea either.

I rate these:
http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Lezyne-Power-Tyre-Levers_33471.htm

Although they are only small, I find they have a better lip - I always seem to have problems getting a grip on the tyre till I used these.

Snapped a couple on someone else's wheel - but never had any problems on all my wheel/tyre combos.

Park Tool. I've got the TL1.2s and they're the only ones I've used that haven't snapped refitting a tight tyre, although to be fair, it's likely that ones that did snap were particularly poor quality...

These!

Steel core and plastic cover. I have them under another brand but they work really well.

Park Tool - they didn't snap even when faced with some Michelin coloured wall tyres which nearly broke me.... Smile

I do like the sound of a knuckle guard, the number of profanities I have issued due to a level slipping and losing skin!
