My impression from the AB interview was that he will be back in Tokyo.

Chance to double up with the mixed relays is the clincher I reckon; he always said Olympics would be a 2 year cycle so next year could be IM, unless he finds LC uninteresting.

Suspect the competitor in him is burning and he'll want a decent full gas outing at 70.3, in heat, before Chattanooga.

He also mentioned the Grand Final, which is a week after Chattanooga.

Great coverage yesterday, good to have Vicky Holland in the commentary box as it meant Matt Chilton had fewer words to mangle!

His obligatory "Oh and someone got really bashed/beaten up there!" at the first turn buoy in every race ever, regardless of whether anything was actually visible, is quite annoying.

What a super race. Big effort by the brothers to stay away. AB did some big turns on the front on the run into the city. We need more technical courses like this on the ITU. Where it rewards bikers who are prepared to take a risk. I think that Stockholm and Auckland (is that still a race) are two good circuits. I think it had of been another 2k into the city the chase pack would of got them?

Yes the ST love for LS is very extreme but hats of to him he ran very well at Samorin. Lets see how he is for the championship races.

I'm no ST-esque LS lover, but have warmed to the bloke. Definitely a balls out racer, doesn't duck a challenge and has that ragged on the edge, 'racing by effort rather than pure talent' look on the bike and run that makes him look more like an AG-er than an elite pro.

I really like Sanders, I love the way he grunts his way through (at high speed). It gives us shufflers hope. But the way ST are about him is ridiculous. If anyone is ahead of him they're pacing off the camera moto, if they're behind him they are drafting if they subsequently pass him. It reminds me of their love for Armstrong, LA could have posted a video of Dr Ferrari taking a bag out of the fridge and putting the line into LA's arm and they would have said he was clean.

I think you should write this paragraph on ST.

I will write something similar at some point. I only post on there to see if I get a bite TBH.

I'm just wondering how mentioning LS, LA and doping in the same passage would be received Smile

Throw in a reference to the (apparently) 'unsafe' Dimond bikes somewhere as well ... that'll be the seasoning on the top! Twisted Evil

With the Dimond bikes it would go into meltdown.

Maybe suggest that the drugs LS took in his past are now enhancing his performance, oh and he's lost weight.

What about Sanders to ride a Dimond as part of the new Livestrong Tri Team?

With Amgen Epogen and Pfizer Levoxyl as the main sponsors and Dr Ferrari and Dr Brown as the medical team.

On the ST note, Jordan Rapp had endorsed a saddle in a ST article that was posted on Facebook. I then replied that his comments regarding any equipment were null and void after the Dimond incident. ST replied that he was sponsored by another saddle company and he was doing it out of the goodness of his heart then Rapp himself replied that he wasn't sponsored by the saddle maker in the article or in fact sponsored by the company ST said he was and was completely impartial as he had been sent this saddle.

I asked if he paid for the saddle as surely free saddles and a positive press article is basically sponsorship, and he didn't respond.

Cue a few Yanks calling me out Very Happy
